We are delighted to announce that Wild Rosamund is participating in Inspire Cambridge 2018.
Wild Rosamund is a strikingly different wedding and event floristry company. They’re inspired by dark Dutch Masters, rich Gothic fantasy and by nature’s colours and textures. They create opulent, wild designs with quirky details you won’t have seen before for weddings and events, as well as business displays, flower workshops and floral styling. They love British blooms, so they source the best seasonal, home-grown flowers and foliage. They show our wild side too, foraging for unusual botanicals to add to our creations.
They design and create divine displays for:
* Weddings – Dreamy flowers as standard for your big day
* Events – Party blooms to make your function shine
* Corporate flower displays – Make the best impression with their bespoke designs
* Floristry workshops – Learn the magic of flowers for yourself

We are very pleased to announce that genuinely hand-made, local beers will be coming to Inspire Cambridge 2018, courtesy of Lord Conrad's Brewery.
Manor House farm in Dry Drayton had a brewhouse many years ago so 'Lord Conrad' felt great to be putting that tradional skill back into a beautiful village, replacing a piece of lost history.
In 2011 the brewery set up in an converted dairy/pig farm building and at the same time drew inspiration from Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall a talented writer, broadcaster and campaigner, who is widely known for his uncompromising commitment to seasonal, ethically produced food and has earned a huge following through his River Cottage TV series and books.
The ultimate goal was to source as much as they could from their doorstep, so that every brew has a piece of local produce within. Like honey from Over, and hops from Swavesey, local lavender and herbs.
With every brew Lord Conrad hopes to have pushed your taste buds to limit.

David Hall Kitchen & Furniture Makers made Kate Osborne's dream a kitchen reality, as she explains...
"When we started the complete renovation of our family home we knew the kitchen was going to be one of the most important elements to get right for us. We were looking for a kitchen designed according to our tastes and to best utilise the space; we didn't want to pick one of three designs from a High Street 'bespoke' kitchen retailer.
What we received from David Hall, both in terms of the finished kitchen and the service throughout was that and so much more. They're a small business, which is very apparent in the outstanding customer service, and yet the quality of the kitchen far outshines anything we saw from (much more expensive) bigger brands.
We like to shop locally and support independent businesses, so to be able to do that when shopping for a kitchen was great and the benefits were very apparent. When we were designing the kitchen we got to sit down with both David and Frances, and it was lovely to know that he would be the person making our kitchen in the workshop just below us; it added a real personal touch to the whole experience.
"We went in with ideas of our own which were certainly taken on board, but they were also not shy about suggesting alternatives based on their years of experience designing and building kitchens.
They worked hard to design something within our budget and in the end we have a kitchen that not only looks beautiful, but flows so seemlessly that it is a real pleasure to spend time in.
David Hall Kitchen And Furniture Makers is a headline sponsor for Inspire Cambridge. Come along to Inspire Cambridge, 27th to 30th September at Quy Mill Hotel & Spa, and meet David and Frances to discuss your kitchen dream...

We are very pleased to announce that British Herb Kitchen is participating in the inaugural Inspire Cambridge, presented by Velvet Magazine.
British Herb Kitchen is on a mission to bring a delicious and nutricious range of forgotten or neglected British herbs back to our tables. Founder Victoria McNeill, after years of cooking and eating all over the world, started looking at Britain's culinary heritage. Why was British food so under-represented?
She made some wonderful discoveries! There was a wide range of interesting and flavoursome herbs that had grown in Britain, in our soil and in our climate, for centuries.
British Herb Kitchen has developed a range of easy-to-use products -pestos, sauces, salts, oils- using our tasty British herbs. To help you rediscover these herbs, British Herb Kitchen provides recipes and growing tips at britishherbkitchen.co.uk
Each month Victoria showcases a 'herb of the month', packing up a direct-delivery box for you, containing that herb to grow, some cut herb to experiment with and a selection of British Herb Kitchen and other hand-picked British artisan products.

We are pleased to announce that the John Lewis Home Design Service is sponsoring Inspire Cambridge, presented by Velvet Magazine.
The John Lewis Home Design Service- based locally at the Grand Arcade store in Cambridge, turns interior design dreams into reality. From single rooms to whole house projects, the service has a team of experts ready to help.
In need of interiors inspiration? Whether you're refreshing one room or rethinking your whole home, the John Lewis Home Design Service can help with free style advice or an in-depth design consultation.
The Home Design Stylists offer two types of appointment. The first is a 90-minute in-store session that focuses on how to update one room by altering a few key pieces. After working through your ideas in store and getting a sense of your style and budget, the Stylist will offer suggestions on everything from flooring and curtains to finishing touches. At the end of the appointment, you'll leave with a personalised shopping list of all the items you've chosen together. Your Stylist can also place any orders or collate your selection of items fo you to take home on the day.
If you're looking to completely revamp up to three rooms, there is the option of an in-depth, two-hour home visit during which your Stylist can get to know your living space. After the visit, you will be invited back to the store for a 60-minute follow up, at which your Stylist will present a digital mood board of ideas and a shopping list of items for a personalised design scheme. They will also place any orders, send out samples and arrange measuring appointments if required. This in-depth design consultation costs £250, which is redeemable when you spend more than £1,500 through the Home Design Service.
Both of these appointments can be booked online at johnlewis.com/homedesignservice or pop into John Lewis Cambridge and speak to one of the store's four Stylists: Sandra McCall, Jane Gaylard, Sheena Middlemass or Philippa Northon.
Or simply visit the John Lewis stand at Inspire Cambridge from 27th to 30th September!
